20. Sustainability through Government Institutionalization

Both the "DDC-NGO Collaboration Guidelines" and "Gender Equality Toolkit" have been approved and taken up by MLD and MWCSW respectively. These Ministries have committed to promote the structures and capacity building necessary to foster improved government - NGO working relationships and gender equality in all districts.

In addition, the NGO Database is integrated into the SWC operations, with a Database Management Committee to oversee its continued functioning. A Plan is in place that maps out roles and responsibilities. Reliable reports that meet the needs of data users will support momentum for the database.
